We are excited to announce that Jennifer Hichar, MSN, APRN, PMHNP-BC, has joined ResWell as our new board-certified psychiatric mental health nurse practitioner.

With a master’s degree from the prestigious Yale School of Nursing and several years of diverse, family-based mental health treatment experience, Jennifer is the perfect addition to our team of collaborative specialists.

Jennifer’s expertise in treating a range of mental health concerns helps expand the services we can provide to our community. Here is a little more background on Jennifer and her experience:

• She received her Master of Science in Nursing with a Psychiatric/Mental Health Specialty from Yale School of Nursing in 2021 and her bachelor’s degree in Psychology from Occidental College in 2017.
• She is a member of the American Psychiatric Nurses Association (APNA), American Association of Nurse Practitioners (AANP), and Neuroscience Education Institute.
• In her previous role at Cedars-Sinai’s Department of Neurology, she focused on helping families and caregivers manage psychiatric and behavioral symptoms of dementia.
• She was inducted into the Sigma Theta Tau International Honor Society of Nursing and was a leadership board member for Yale School of Nursing’s Addiction Medicine Collaborative.

Jennifer’s areas of expertise include depression, anxiety, ADHD, OCD, bipolar disorder, psychosis, autism, dementia, dual diagnosis care, and personality disorders. She is dedicated to providing patient-centered, evidence-based care and seeks to provide individualized treatment delivered with empathy and respect.
