About Michael Enenbach, MD

Dr. Michael Enenbach is a highly esteemed psychiatrist whose compassionate approach to mental healthcare has distinguished him in his field. With his recent move to ResWell Health, he brings a wealth of experience and a deep commitment to providing personalized, evidence-based care.

Dr. Enenbach’s journey in psychiatry began with his education at the University of Kansas School of Medicine, followed by a general psychiatry residency at the University of California, San Francisco. He further advanced his expertise in child and adolescent psychiatry during his fellowship at the University of Washington.

Dr. Enenbach’s career is marked by several prestigious roles. Working at UCLA for over 12 years, he served as an Associate Clinical Professor in the Child and Adolescent Division of Psychiatry and the Vice Chief of Staff and Assistant Clinical Director at the Stuart and Lynda Resnick Neuropsychiatric Hospital. He was also the Medical and Clinical Director of the UCLA Pediatric Psychopharmacology Clinic. Before joining ResWell Health, he was the Medical Director at the Child Mind Institute in San Mateo.

Throughout his career, Dr. Enenbach has been dedicated to taking a multidisciplinary approach to mental healthcare. He has expertise in providing a range of treatments for ADHD, autism spectrum disorders, LGBTQ+ care, childhood behavioral disorders, eating disorders, teenage depression, and borderline personality disorder. His dedication to mental healthcare has earned him recognition as a Top Psychiatrist by California Magazine in 2020 and as a Distinguished Fellow of the American Academy of Child and Adolescent Psychiatry.

At ResWell Health, Dr. Enenbach joins as a Senior Child, Adolescent, and Adult Psychiatrist, bringing his holistic approach and perspective to the team. He believes in treating each patient as a whole person, understanding that medication may or may not be part of the optimal treatment plan. With his extensive experience, Dr. Enenbach’s warm, patient-focused approach makes him a valuable asset to his colleagues and patients at ResWell Health.

In his free time, Dr. Enenbach enjoys cuddling with his two golden retrievers (Charley and Frank, both girls), needlepoint, Pilates, Adult Lego, and fashion magazines. You may also see him driving around LA in Big Red, his 1982 vintage convertible. She has cost him SO MUCH money, but she’s worth it!
