Group Workshops: Building Confidence, Connection & Life Skills
ResWell’s workshops, led by our experienced Community Education team, give girls a supportive space to build confidence, strengthen friendships, and develop practical social and emotional skills.
Designed for groups of girls in grades 3—8, these workshops are a great fit for school groups,Girl Scout troops, volunteer groups,and other youth organizations.
Each program includes:
- a fun, in-person workshop for the girls– combining games, creative projects, and other hands-on activities to learn social and emotional skills in an engaging format
- a presentation and Q&A with parents over Zoom –so parents learn the same strategies and can best support their children going forward
Group Workshop Options
- Friendship Circle
- How to navigate friendships, communicate effectively, and approach challenges with confidence and compassion (for 3rd—8th graders)
- Connected + Confident
- How to strike the right balance, communicate without drama, and be more intentional about screen time (for 5th—8th graders)
- Stress Less + Feel Your Best
- How to calm big emotions, increase gratitude, make time for self-care, and thrive (for 5th—8th graders)
- Positively You!
- How to understand media messages and maintain a healthy, positive body image and sense of self (for 5th—8th graders)
Bring your Group for a Workshop!
Group Size: We generally work with groups of 10-20 girls in grades 3-8.
Scheduling your Workshop: Workshops are often on Friday afternoons from 4pm-6pm, and the parent presentations over Zoom are typically the day before from 6-7pm. We can discuss your group’s preferred dates and times.
Cost: A fee of $675 covers the in-person workshop with our Community Education team, all materials for creative projects, booklets covering key content, and the parent presentation. Groups generally pro-rate this cost across families, so a workshop of 20 families would cost under $35 per family.

Stand Up! Speak Out!® Workshop Series
Join us for a fun, supportive series of six workshops designed to help girls in grades 3-5 build confidence, communication skills, resilience, and connection.
Each 90-minute workshop focuses on a different social-emotional skill through games, team-building activities, creative projects, skits, and plenty of fun. Girls will practice skills for navigating friendships, handling challenges, communicating effectively, and feeling more confident in themselves.
Led by our experienced Community Education team, the Stand Up! Speak Out! Workshops offer a welcoming opportunity to build important social emotional skills in the beautiful, shady outdoor setting of Tournament Park.
For: Girls in grades 3-5
Location: Tournament Park, Caltech campus, 1200 E. California Blvd., Pasadena
- We’ll meet at the picnic tables in the full shade of mature trees, with access to the entire park for games and activities.
Fall, 2026 Workshops: September 25 • October 16 • November 20
Spring, 2027 Workshops: February 26 • March 19 • April 16
Fridays: 4-5:30pm
Cost: $375 for all 6 workshops
- Bring-a-Friend Discount: Sign up for the 6 workshops with a sibling or friend and receive a discounted $360 rate!
- Fall or Spring only: $195 per 3-workshop season if only the fall or spring dates work for your family.
