Assessments
Our experienced team provides comprehensive assessments for children, teens, and adults – using a supportive and compassionate approach. We understand that concerns about learning, attention, behavior, and emotional regulation can be confusing, especially when the reasons are not yet clear.
Our evaluations are designed to help bring clarity. We look at how someone learns, thinks, and processes information, plus the emotional and social factors that may be affecting daily life. We take a strengths-based, neurodiversity-affirming approach — recognizing and respecting different ways of thinking and learning.
After the evaluation, we provide clear, practical recommendations that can support success at school, at work, and in relationships. We also offer Independent Educational Evaluations (IEEs) to support educational planning and advocacy.

Our Assessment Process
Assessment Sessions
Clients meet with a caring member of our clinical team in a comfortable office setting for two to three assessment sessions. Sessions include activities and questions to better understand thinking, learning, and emotional functioning. For children and teens, sessions are developmentally appropriate, engaging, and paced to meet their needs.
Thoughtful Evaluation & Diagnosis
We carefully review all assessment information to develop a clear understanding of strengths and challenges. When appropriate, we provide a diagnosis; if not, we clearly explain why diagnostic criteria are not met, with transparency and care.
Parent Feedback & Recommendations
We meet with parents to share results, explain any diagnoses, and provide clear, practical recommendations. This includes guidance for home and school support, as well as documentation such as IEE reports for educational planning.
Child-Friendly Feedback Books
For younger clients, we create a personalized, colorful book that explains results in a clear and affirming way. We review the bookwith the child to help them understand their strengths and any diagnoses in a supportive, age-appropriate format.
