About Ani Khodaverdian, MA, JD

Ani Khodaverdian, MA, JD is an Associate Marriage and Family Therapist who works with children, adolescents, adults, and families. Her work focuses on helping clients reconnect with their authentic selves, heal from past experiences, and create more meaningful, empowered lives.

Grounded in a humanistic, person-centered approach, Ani offers a warm, collaborative, and nonjudgmental space for growth and exploration. She integrates psychoeducation, existential theory, CBT, trauma-informed care, mindfulness, somatic practices, and expressive therapies, tailoring treatment to each individual’s needs.

Ani has experience supporting anxiety, depression, trauma, identity development, neurodivergence, and family relationship challenges, with a strong focus on strengthening connection and emotional safety. Her background includes working with under-resourced communities, as well as prior work as an attorney. She brings cultural humility and a deep commitment to inclusive, affirming care for diverse populations. Ani is supervised by Monica Valdivia Aguilar, Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT 41352).
