Fall Therapy Groups for Kids, Teens, and Young Adults
ResWell’s therapy groups provide a welcoming space for children, teens, and young adults to connect with peers, build practical coping strategies, strengthen confidence, and feel less alone.
Led by our caring, experienced therapists, our groups give participants the opportunity to practice new skills, share experiences, and build meaningful connections in a safe environment where they can feel understood and supported.
Our six weekly groups provide support at different stages:
- Girl Power (grades 3-5) focuses on building confidence and self-expression through creative activities and supportive peer interaction.
- Tween Connections (grades 5-7) helps preteens strengthen social skills, navigate friendships, and develop emotional awareness.
- Compassion and Grit (grades 9-12) emphasizes resilience, empathy, and coping strategies, helping participants face challenges with self-compassion while staying connected to themselves and others.
- Wellness Grit (grades 9-12) integrates emotional wellness for teens living with chronic pain with practical tools for stress management, self-care, and perseverance in daily life.
- Rainbow Grit (grades 9-12) provides an affirming, inclusive space for LGBTQ+ teens to explore identity, build resilience, and experience a strong sense of belonging and support.
- PEERS for Teens / Young Adults (ages 12-18 / 18-35) is a 16-week neuroaffirming, evidence-based program designed to support motivated adolescents and young adults in making and keeping friends, and parents learn how to offer support.
Therapy groups can be combined with other mental health services or serve as a cost-effective standalone option for weekly support.
We welcome you to reach out and learn about the options that might best support your family.
